You will be part of the small legal team in Switzerland and report directly to the Country Legal Manager. It is in your main responsibility to make sure the legal aspects of business decisions are appropriately considered. You work closely together with all functions of the Company in order to provide any legal advice needed.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Advise on contracts, legal issues and implications of business initiatives and provide business-minded hands on solutions
  • Support contract negotiations with customers and suppliers
  • Develop and implement local policies
  • Develop and implement internal compliance trainings, in particular in the area of competition law
  • Minimize legal risks by offering standard templates and reviewing legally relevant procedures
  • Support cross-functional projects
  • Manage litigation proceedings and coordinate external consultants
  • Closely monitor relevant areas of legislation and political developments relevant for the business and advise accordingly
  • Build up and take care of all necessary relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Legal Counsel

Your skills and Experience

  • University law degree and Swiss bar exam
  • At least 3 years working experience after the bar exam in a law firm and/or legal department
  • Sound knowledge in competition law and contract law
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities within tight time frames
  • Effective communicator with strong negotiation and relation management skills
  • Good financial and business understanding
  • Proactive and open minded team player
  • Structured, persistent and efficient working methods
  • Proficient command of written and spoken German and English, knowledge of French and/or Italian desirable
