Product Support Engineer - Medtech
with a passion for detective work.
At our R&D site in Baden with more than 200 employees we specialize in the development of imaging soft- and hardware for cancer treatment. With our Product Support Engineering team we interface with customers and with our service- and development engineers. You will be working as a specialist in the field of image acquisition (X-Ray and MV) and motion control (robotic arms).
Root cause investigation for complaints initiated by customers. This includes diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex systems.
Technical support to field engineers, technicians, and support personnel.
Authoring and compiling technical documentation for the field service organization.
Installation, service support and training during new product roll outs, ensuring that feedback is delivered and incorporated into subsequent releases.
Provide service requirements to design and development teams for new products.
Respond to situations where first level and second level field service support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
Reporting of design, reliability, maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering teams.
A bachelor or master's degree in electrical engineering or a comparable degree
Sound expertise in electronics and software
High level of analytical skills
Enjoy detective work and troubleshooting
Solid English both spoken and written, German is a plus
Reliable, tenacious, team-oriented
Auto didactic skills in order to be quickly familiarized with new areas

Moreover, you are highly self-motivated, always looking for ways to further your knowledge and better your performance.
