factors that assure the present and future success of JTI. For our Swiss Market organisation in Dagmersellen, in the canton Lucerne, we are looking for a motivated, team-oriented and
proactive individual (m/f) for the permanent position as Strategic Insights Manager In this role you will report to the Strategic Insights Lead and have one associate reporting into you.
You will actively contribute to the Strategic Insights (SI) team within all its activities in terms of strategic planning, forecasting, con-
sumer and trade insights and performance management. You will lead the development and evolution of pricing strategies whilst
contributing to the formulation of brand, portfolio and commercial strategies in order to help drive the business. Responsibilities Lead the twice yearly pricing strategy scenario planning process in collaboration with key stakeholders Ensure ideal long term portfolio pricing strategies, outline discounting levels and build pricing forecasts by understanding price
elasticity and key competitor strategies within the dynamic market context and working closely with the finance department Analyze emerging trends among target smokers, selected channels and the retail environment Generate insights for the A&SP/TDT process to identify opportunities and formulate future strategies for both brands/product
and trade/channel strategies Leverage the various data sources at SI’s disposition to deliver insights into company performance within the context of KPIs Proactively engage key stakeholders within Marketing and Sales with regular and ad-hoc analysis acting as a “Trusted Busi-
ness Advisor" Support the SI team in monitoring competitive activities, macro-economic indicators and in-market performance during peak
planning periods within the year Manage the Strategic Insights Associate, securing his/her personal progression and maximize contribution to the company’s
performance Qualifications and Experience You obtained a university degree in marketing or business administration or/and MBA and have several years of practical experi-
ence in the area of FMCG marketing or in business analytics. Your strengths include pricing strategies and related financial under-
standing, data mining, and honed experience in integrating findings across the organization. Moreover, you have relevant
knowledge of brand tracking, market data, ATL/BTL communication, brand equity building, pricing and pipeline development. You
have strong analytical abilities, a structural approach of tasks and are able to draw correct conclusions from a plethora of data.
You have very good presentation and influencing skills, issuing logical recommendations and deducing prognoses for the future.
We envisage a team player who is flexible and able to work under pressure. You have strong command of written and spoken
business English, additionally German and/or French will constitute an asset. You have a thorough knowledge of MS Office, strong
