The Operational Procurement function provides centralized client-touching operational and enabling services direct to client end-users as well as to internal Chain IQ functions. The primary purpose of the function is to ensure consistent and ongoing cost effective and efficient delivery of services. Within the function, Contract Compliance and Value Recovery specialists undertake contingency fee based reviews of Client's contractual agreements versus actual billings to validate that Chain IQ's client were correctly billed and all expected discounts, rebates or other financial benefits were received. In addition the team seeks to identify potential improvements identified through the review (e.g. control, processes, and contractual terms) that can provide further opportunities for Chain IQ to support the Client. The Operational Procurement function operates on a pooled resource and capability model. While individuals are assigned to a primary topic, all specialists are expected to be flexible and provide operational support as needed based on client requirements and operational needs. Your main responsibilities:  Provides contract compliance and recovery services as part of Chain IQ's service catalogue  Works closely with Business Development and Category specialists to promote capability and develop robust opportunity pipeline  Manages and delivers individual recovery projects from project initiation through to report issuance and actual recovery collection ensuring relevant Chain IQ stakeholders are appropriately engaged and consulted  Ensures that any control gaps or process optimization opportunities identified through audits are appropriately recorded and pursued  Builds delivery capability leveraging external specialist audit partners and internal resource as required  Liaises with Chain IQ Finance to ensure that all recoveries are billed to the client in line with the contractual agreement and ensures receivable is recovered to Chain IQ  Manages projects, resources and time-scales in a structured and transparent way, sharing plans with others  Identifies and examines more demanding problems and offers solutions which are realistic and practical Your profile:  Degree of a business apprentice / university of applied science / university (bachelor), mainly in Finance or Economics  3 years of professional experience  Strong analytical and audit capabilities potentially gained through previous consulting or audit experience  Ability to manage and influence a diverse set of stakeholders on a project basis to drive optimal outcomes  Commercial focus strong process understanding coupled with understanding of procurement principles and contract law  You s eek to understand the client’s needs, provide solutions and maintain relationships. In addition, you shows an awareness of products and services from other business divisions relevant to own work area  Systematically strives to increase quality; captures and organizes data relevant to the own work area  Remains calm and self-controlled in the phase of ambiguity and continuous change  You are openly supportive, encouraging and involve others helping to build team spirit and consensus  Previous leadership, oversight or heavy influence of a similar function  Ability to fully anticipate, comprehend and deliver on related internal and external client requirements  Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and with high flexibility  Delivery-focused with strong project management skills  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and strong negotiation skills  Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) is a must  Ability to speak and read other languages such as French, Italian or Spanish is an asset Did we pique your interest?
