Construction Project manager
H&M operates more than 4000 stores in 56 countries. We continue to expand worldwide, and with the current growth trend we expect to double the number of stores within 5-6 years. This will be achieved by growth in both current and new markets. We are now looking for a Construction Project Manager to join the Swiss expansion team.

As a Construction Project Manager you are a part of the country expansion team and will be responsible for managing the H&M store project process. The responsibilities include 1) preparation and planning of project pipeline in accordance with yearly expansion targets 2) coordination of architects, consultants and contractors to secure H&M store design, quality and commerciality in accordance with global guidelines 3) budget follow-up, time planning and secure information flow throughout whole construction process. To support store layout process you will work closely together with our store development team. In order to secure the right investment level per store you will work closely with our business development and leasing team. As a Construction Project Manager you are also extensively involved in the tendering process of external resources. You will report to the Swiss Construction Manager in a strong team of project managers. You will be based in Zürich.
You have construction project management experience (retail project management experience is a plus) together with a Bachelor’s degree in the fields of architecture, civil engineering/construction, project management. You are driven and want to work in an organization with fast pace, creative problem solving, short deadlines and focus on long term result. You have excellent prioritization skills and the ability to plan long term without losing the day to day details. You like to travel for extended periods of time and to work flexible hours.
Fluency in German and English is needed. French and/or Italian is a plus.
