Sourcing & Vendor Management - Contract Manager/ Contract Risk Manager

  • A key Position in our new Third Party Management Office
  • The chance to partner with Internal Business Partners (IPBs) to ensure appropriate governance of agreements as per Credit Suisse policy and procedures
  • The opportunity to become the primary point of contact and face-off for the IBP with the TMPO
  • The responsibility to oversee the  accuracy and completeness of the IBP’s management of the third party agreements, covering  disciplines such as:

  - Obligation, commitment and deliverable (OCD) tracking

  - Service Performance

  - Commercial Compliance

  - Regulatory and Policy adherence

  - Issue and Problem Management

  - Contract Change Control

  • The chance to oversee and monitor the documentation and archiving of artifacts related to the disciplines mentioned above
  • The responsibility to escalate patterns of behavior or contract modifications that could impact either the inherent risk of the relationship or the associated control landscape.
  • To opportunity to work with the IBPs to resolve any deficiencies or outstanding issues; help to craft remediation plans as necessary
  • The opportunity to provide first line of insight into issues associated with third parties as needed both to management of the respective IBPs as well as the Director of CM/CRM function
  • The chance to identify general opportunities for process improvements in the TPMO processes as well as to enhance profitability/reduce value leakage
  • BS/BA degree
  • Minimum of 5 years direct working experience in a multinational environment managing complex (managed service) agreements
  • Minimum of 3 years direct working experience in  third party risk management
  • A strong background in post-contract management and contract lifecycle governance
  • Familiarity with the TPRM function within financial services or a similar regulated industry
  • Prior work experience supporting a bank or financial services institution is preferred
  • Understanding of the key risk, compliance and audit objectives
  • Excellent logic skills, analytical skills and problem solving capabilities so as to be able to think about the downstream consequences
  • To be a team player who can collaborate across multiple functional areas
  • An adaptable personality who remains focused on delivering a long term plan
  • To be dedicated, driven, and flexible to the changing dynamics of nascent function
  • Good communication skills: you can write and speak clearly, concisely, and convincingly in both English as well as German
  • A self-starter mentality, capable of designing and implementing services
  • Efficient operation management capabilities (e.g. six-sigma) to drive continuous improvement
