Technical Category Manager GI (M/F)
Primary interface between Innovation and Development (I&D) and Commercial Innovation Director(CID), responsible to asses pre-NPD projects in cooperation with the CID to bring growth through consumer-compelling innovative products and claims to market that from the basis of a differentiated, sustainable pipeline.
Provide leadership and technical expertise for the development of New Product Development (NPD) strategy, aligns with regulatory team on optimal CMC strategy.
Represent development site for approved NPDs in project teams (eg GPT) and coordinates appropriate medical, regulatory, claims, products research, Global Innovation Development Center (GIDC) support for concept development.
Set-up / update of the technical part of the Consumer Technical Model.
Lead development of project risks, TPP and proactively identifies, mitigates and communicates project risks.
Ensure Leadership of Development Center technical sub team activities through tech transfer including CMC module 3 preparation according to established budget and timelines with the Technical Project Leads reporting into this position.
Leverage the Science of the Gastrointestinals Category and translates it into highly relevant consumer experiences and high value new products.
Influence key stakeholders, drives excellence and high performing behaviors across the I&D organization and specifically at the Category and brand level.
Oversee and provide leadership and technical expertise for external technical developments.
Lead tactical execution of approved NPD projects at development sites according to established budget and timelines ensuring delivery of a product pipeline that meets business growth expectations.
