Scientist Bioanalytics (MP0128)

Scientist Bioanalytics (MP0128)

Molecular Partners AG is a thriving and steadily growing clinical stage Biotech Company located in Zurich-Schlieren, Switzerland. The development of a broad portfolio of therapeutic product candidates in oncology and ophthalmology based on our proprietary DARPin platform allowed a successful listing of the company on the SIX Swiss Exchange (MOLN). Next to our own proprietary pipeline of drug candidates we have entered into collaborations with international pharmaceutical companies, including Allergan and Janssen.

To support our Bioanalytics team, we are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Scientist to join our Operations Department.

This challenging and diverse position will include the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Development and qualification of bioanalytical assays (i.e. PK, ADA and biomarker assays) in the laboratory.
  • Scientific support during method transfer to bioanalytical CROs and supervision of GLP/GCP compliant assay validations including reviews of study plans and reports.
  • Technical responsibility for outsourced assays during GLP/GCP sample analysis.
  • Preparation of data, newly established methods, updates, reports and PP presentations for the team, stakeholders, bioanalytical CROs and partners.
  • Further improvement of established quality measures in the bioanalytical laboratory (SOPs, templates, macros, IT/database etc.).

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a Ph.D. in biology/biochemistry or a related discipline, with ideally 1-2 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or bioanalytical CRO.

You should further bring along:

  • Sound understanding of relevant GLP/GCP guidelines, bioanalytical white papers and industry recommendations. Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply but have to demonstrate readiness to gather knowledge in bioanalytics, drug development and associated regulatory aspects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and a “yes we can” attitude.
  • An accurate and independent working style paired with excellent organization skills.
  • Proficiency in English including good writing skills, German is a strong asset.

The successful candidate will be part of a highly motivated, dynamic team strongly involved in pre-clinical studies and clinical trials. If you are interested in working at Molecular Partners, we are looking forward to hearing from you! Please submit your detailed curriculum vitae to:
