Investment Controller, Family Office
Investment Controller Family Office Based in Lausanne the Family Office provides investment advice as well as operational and accounting support to legal structures domiciled in various countries.
Reporting to the Managing Partner the Board and the principals the Controller leads the data management accounting and operational functions of the Family Office.
Coordinate external service providers including investment managers custodian fund administrator auditor legal counsel and tax advisor to ensure that the reporting and operational requirements of the investment structures are met
Supervise and support the production of financial statements investment reports tax and other required filings per applicable regulations
Maintain and refine the systems controls and processes employed to produce and reconcile accounting data
Maintain and refine the operations manual outlining the different internal management processes employed
Prepare instructions for transactions and subscription documents for new investments
Lead the budgetary process manage payroll employee benefits and payments
Track contracts and ensure that all obligations are met
Manage general office operations.
Financial or management accounting qualification with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience/big four and audit experience a plus
Investment accounting and Private Equity accounting experience desirable
University education in finance/business or similar
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required VBA a plus /proficient user of standard office IT tools
Fluent in French and English written and verbal.
