We have been mandated by our client, a leading international producer and maker of beer, wine and spirits, Headquartered in the US and operating all over the world, our client is constantly developing and recreating to face the fast moving expectations of its market.
In order to strengthen its brand on this sector which needs to reinvent constantly, we are looking for a dynamic and creative Senior Brand Strategy Manager.
In this highly attractive position you will be focused on the US market, making this an unique opportunity in the Swiss Market.
Senior Brand Strategy Manager
Reporting to the SVP Brand Strategy, you will join a multi-cultural team where you will be instrumental in key decisions made for the brand in the US.
You role will help set the branding strategy resulting in superb execution, specifically looking at:
1.Leading and building the marketing activity of the brand and its sub-brands globally working with the internal team and external agency support, within agreed budgets.
2.Ensuring that the global strategies are adhered to and interpreted in an appropriate consumer-driven / trade-driven way.
3.Acting as the brand guardian and leading marketing advocate through the business.
To reach these goals, you will:
Work with the SVP Brand Strategy in developing the Global Branding Plan and gaining alignment through the business in order to deliver continued growth.
Support SVP Brand Strategy to develop, define and align a new global brand positioning and vision for the brand and its sub-brands.
Deliver the on-going brand strategy, brand architecture, delivering against the Global Marketing Plan.
Develop brand's integrated marketing campaigns, providing creative communication direction across all marketing communication programmes.
Act as the custodian of the brand and sub-brands, liaising with Regions and Global team members to ensure consistency and uniformity of message in all external and internal communications.
Regularly review brand awareness metrics and targets and establish plans and processes for improvements.
Take ownership and responsibility for marketing processes and procedures for the brand team.
Initiate regular review and assessment of all appointed agencies and suppliers in the marketing field
The ideal candidate will have:
Master degree in Marketing and Communication.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar Branding role.
A perfect understanding of the concept of «selling an experience».
Good branding experience across brands in the FMCG industry, preferably in Beers and Spirits (Mandatory).
Agency and client-side experience, with a strength and leadership in client-side positions ideally in both B2B and B2C environments. consumer and trade philosophy.
An understanding and experience of working in a Global, Group or Regional marketing function (above country level): centralized and decentralized way of working.
The ability to think strategically and co-ordinate strategy across a number of mediums.
Demonstrable relationship-building, personal integrity/trust and successful influencing skills across a range of external stakeholders and internal stakeholders (product development).
Strong project management skills, strong influencing and cross-functional leadership abilities and possess a high level of attention to detail.
The ability to work under pressure and lead teams through ambiguity.
Strong strategic and analytic skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior managers and executives. This person will be equally comfortable in conversations ranging from strategic to creative to financial to analytical topics.
Perfectly fluent written and spoken in English.
