Marketing & Event Manager Europe

For our customer, a listed, worldwide active private bank headquartered in Zürich/Switzerland, we are seeking a Marketing & Event Manager Europe:




• Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies (includes conducting market research to identify market potential and to define sponsorship platforms that are in-line with the group’s strategy)

• Report to the Head of Marketing Europe

• Positioning and anchoring the group through appropriate marketing activities in the different locations of the region Europe

• Stakeholder management (external/internal), on-going budget managing/monitoring in the assigned markets and participation in the yearly marketing budget process

• Designing, planning, organizing, executing and evaluating client events in the different markets (including on-site presence)

• Negotiating contracts with external providers in collaboration with Strategic Procurement

• Ensuring the management of strategic and operational issues in promoting the activity of the bank in the region Europe

• Internal communication, support of the marketing head of the region Europe (organization of information sessions, elaboration of the communication, etc.)

• Writing and proof reading of marketing collaterals (i.e. brochures, presentation, speeches, etc.) as well as assisting with the translation of marketing collaterals

Based on the corporate guidelines, creation of event communication material

• Ensuring the proper application of relevant guidelines within the region

• Responsible for the preparation of marketing materials and gifts for the region

• On-going support to the market heads and relationship managers in all aspects relating to marketing

• Establishing regional marketing reports (including consolidation and control of all regional marketing activities)

• Close collaboration with the central marketing teams in terms of: brand image, advertising, media relations, events, sponsoring and marketing material

• Interface management with internal and external parties (e.g., PR agencies)



 • B.Sc. in Economies (or similar education), including regular trainings in marketing, communication and event management

• At least 5 years experience in marketing, communication and/or event management gained in Europe (banking and/or luxury industry)

• English native; German, Italian (and/or Spanish) fluent

• Experience in dealing with demanding clients

• Proactive and able to work autonomously

• Pragmatic, solution-oriented and hands-on

• High level of flexibility (evening events and frequent travels on short notice), winning personality

• Stress resistant, with excellent time management and organisation skills

• Team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills
