Inventory Business Analyst (fixed-term contract)

CORE MISSION:

The Inventory Business Analyst is responsible of gathering information around stocks, service, volumes and operations, publishing to stakeholders and helping in deriving key insights and learnings to enable quick and efficient decision-making across the organization. She/he

  • is supporting update of key inventory planning master data, including the ones related to target coverage and ordering lot size;
  • is helping with preparation and analysis of budget/reforecast information concerning volumes purchased by affiliates (purchase forecast & actuals) and inventory targets (including stock, coverage and excesses);
  • is working closely with Inventory and Supply Planning, Demand Planning as well as Local Supply Planning and IT Support Teams.


MAIN RESPONSABILITIES :

1. Reporting

Responsible for the maintenance, data integrity and evolution of the different reports used by Global Deployment Organization. That includes:

  • Forward Coverage Report;
  • Product Availability Report;
  • Stock Dashboard;
  • Inventory Quality Report;
  • Delivery Profile;
  • Business Dashboards & Scorecards;
  • Purchase Forecast Accuracy.

2. SIOP Monthly Cycle Support

  • Support Inventory Planners and Affiliates with insights, data and methodology to assess improvement actions to drive improvement on stocks and other key metrics;
  • Purchase Forecast;
  • Check coherence of weekly DRP data and analyze key deviations;
  • Support monthly process of demand analysis with Supply and Demand Planning Teams;
  • Support Budget/Reforecast preparation process.

3. Operations Support

  • Inventory Right Sizing: responsible for maintaining Inventory Policies and for quarterly update in alignment with affiliates and Inventory Planners;
  • Cycle Stock Optimization: responsible for maintaining policies for lot size definition and for monthly update of lot sizing master data;
  • Stock Share Process.

  • Excess & obsolete metrics.


HOW YOU CAN FIT:

  • Master Degree in Logistics or related discipline;
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role (Supply, Inventory or Demand Planning);
  • Mastery in using Excel (Macros);
  • Solid experience in database extraction like SQL, Access and SAP (MM PP, DRP);
  • Rigorous with strong analytical skills and structured approach;
  • Fast learner and at ease with complexity and an international fast-pace environment;
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders;
  • Business & financial understanding (integrating supply chain cost drivers and financial data to minimize total delivered product cost and inventory at targeted service levels);
  • Fluent in English AND French.

STARTING DATE: 1st April 2021

FIXED-TERM CONTRACT: 4 months (parental leave replacement)
