Senior HR Manager Switzerland

Key Responsibilities:

Engagement and Culture Consultant

  • Drive employee engagement and communication together with site and country management
  • Role model New Ambitions and influence culture shift towards a combined business
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as trusted employee advocate
  • Ownership of and ensuring execution of local new hire onboarding process to optimize early productivity and engagement
  • Gain insights through onboarding, off boarding, engagement surveys and ensure data is utilized for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate different site action plans to improve site employment survey engagement score

Performance Management

  • Advise site managers L4 on job and person requirements and influence the selection decisions, based on business requirements in partnership with Talent Acquisition
  • Assess talent needs relevant to performance and capability. Support workforce planning – for country and site leaders only
  • Partner with local leaders >L4 to identify top talent and succession candidates and support the country/site succession planning process
  • Advise local leaders on the application of talent management tools and processes L4 on development plans
  • In conjunction with Talent Management, advise on, adapt and shape development programs and materials to ensure relevance and compliant fit for local application

Diversity & Inclusion

  • Build and maintain a catalogue of D&I initiatives in partnership with country/site business leaders to encourage a diverse and inclusive culture in recruiting, development, engagement and retention

Organizational Compliance

  • Ensure country/site HR policies and programs meet country legislation requirements, are updated and that staff are aware of any changes
  • Inform and instruct Shared Services and COEs on labor law, industry/market practice policy/program changes
  • Administer special local processes which require local expertise or handling outside of the Shared Services support model
  • HR ownership for region/country/site Disaster Relief/Crisis Managemet

Employee relations

  • Advice and counsel on discipline, performance and grievance matters in partnership with Works Councils/Unions/Consultation Groups where required and in partnership with Legal/Compliance, Shared Services, responsible HRBP and COE/Employee Relations for country/site leaders only
  • Partner with Corporate Employee Relations team on discipline, performance and grievance matters

Collaboration Centers of Expertise

  • Represent region/country/site cultural, business and statutory requirements with the implementation of global COE programs
  • Implement global COE programs and initiatives in region/country/site and partner with COEs and site management to achieve the highest impact of P&P programs
  • Provide country practice and market information on annual merit recommendation
  • Provide guidance and coaching to local leaders in the delivery of compensation programs such as annual salary planning and incentive recommendations

Works Councils/Union/Community Relations

  • Manage relationship and ongoing issues with local Works Councils/Union and Consultation Groups
  • Represents company in external business environment, Peer Groups and Community relations (migration authorities, labor inspection etc)
  • Build employment brand with country/local community, universities and tech schools


  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in industrial/organizational psychology, human resource management, business or a related field is required
  • At least 10-15 years HR experience, preferably in different HR roles such as HRBP, global COE, Employee Relations or HR Country Leader position
  • People management experience
  • Experience in company integration topics (Mercher & Acquisition)
  • Solid knowledge around local Comp & Ben systems including pension scheme.
  • Team player with the ability to lead and implement change through strong project management, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in “industry” supporting a diverse, complex, software development, sales/service and production environment
  • Knowledge/awareness of region/country labor law
  • Expertise in project management and process improvement methodologies and tools
  • Extensive knowledge of employee engagement, change management and continuous improvement
  • Ability, competence, and confidence to influence senior leaders. Effective interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
