Engineering & Lifecycle Quality is a global function within Roche Diabetes Care Global Operations & Quality, responsible for providing engineering capabilities to our internal and external manufacturing units.

Purpose of the job

The role reports directly Head of Responsible Procurement and holds responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of Lifecycle Master Data Management regarding Material Compliance.

Master Data Management

  • Member of MatCom Squad

  • Business process owner of MatCom Data Management process

  • Continuous optimization MatCom Data Management process

  • Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Lifecycle Master Data Management regarding Material Compliance

  • Monitoring and reporting the quality of the data in the SAP ERP (PDC/ MDG-M) in the dimensions Accuracy, Completeness, Conformity, Consistency, Integrity, Timeliness, Uniqueness

  • Provide reporting of relevant data for business, reviews and audits

  • Training for colleagues with less experience regarding MatCom Data Management process

  • Technical Support for Master Data Management process (also in Affiliates)

Core responsibilities

  • Responsible/accountable for implementation and maintenance of Lifecycle Master Data Management and coaching colleagues (e.g. Expert Material Compliance) in correct use thereof

  • Maintain and keep up to date repository for country specific material compliance requirements

  • Ensuring correct storing and linking of material compliance data in related PLM-structure in cooperation with Material Compliance Expert

  • Evaluation of all collected information regarding components/material of RDC products, as well as storing respective documents in the related PLM-structureGeneration of records required for the assurance of regulatory compliance for RDC products

  • Provide input for & maintaining master data in appropriate systemsGeneration of system records required for the assurance of regulatory compliance for RDC products and representation of Data Management in audits

  • Support tender requestsActive interaction with colleagues from procurement, development, product care, etc. for the assurance of complete Lifecycle Material Compliance Data of RDC products

  • Monitoring and reporting the quality of the data in the SAP ERP (PDC/ MDG-M)

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience, preferably within the Medical Device industry

  • University degree in Life Science, Engineering, Business, Product Development, or related fields

  • Expert in Product Introduction, Lifecycle & Master Data Management with specific technical skill

  • Ability to lead large/global cross-functional or cross-chapter projects or Initiatives

  • Challenges the status-quo and develops new approaches to complex problems potentially influencing others to change their point of view and leading others to solve the problem

  • Highly energetic to drive change and find solutions quickly and effectively

  • Ability to manage key stakeholders and interact with peer groups

  • Experienced with new ways of working (e.g. Agile) and process management tools

  • Strong communication skills (oral, written) in English mandatory, German advantageous
