For the support of our team in Switzerland, we are looking for a
Human Resources Manager (f/m/d) located at our site in Reinach (BL)
How will you make an impact:
As the HR Partner you provide comprehensive HR support to site Thermo Fisher Scientific businesses in order to facilitate improved business performance and employee engagement. You are accountable for implementing site HR strategies to support delivery of the strategic objectives. This includes continuing to develop a culture based on the 4is and continuous improvement, attracting, retaining and developing talents. The role delivers day-to-day HR services to site managers and employees through the full employment life cycle. Embedded into the Swiss country HR organization you will be the “key point of contact” for the site leadership teams assigned, primarily in Reinach, BL (3 days onsite) and Ecublens, VD (1 day onsite), business HR Partner and the country HR leader, locally implementing programs and HR initiatives in alignment with the broader HR and business goals.
What you will contribute:
Talent Advocate
Support talent attraction and management, including evaluation, assessment and development to nurture a positive culture built upon our 4i values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
Leadership Development
Deliver mentorship and coaching to people managers regarding HR policies and employee training needs. Support colleagues in the navigation of employee relations matters, including performance management, formal/informal investigations, and resulting disciplinary actions.
Organizational Adaptability and Resolve
Build partnerships with site, HR, and business leaders to guide site activities, shape culture, and drive employee engagement.
HR Analytics and Data Driven Insights
Use data and people metrics dashboards to drive continuous improvement of talent and business capabilities, as well as influence change in the broader HR team
Project/Process Management
Lead HR and process improvement projects and support annual HR processes, as well as coordinate effective compensation equity and planning.
How you will get there
University degree within HR related subjects
+5 years of experience in Human Resources delivering within a matrix organisation and a performance management culture
Experience of working within an HR Ulrich Model Structure
Ability to quickly build and sustain relationships with a range of stakeholders of all levels, also remote
Validated ability to serve as a successful member of a business management team that provides company leadership and direction, preferably in an international environment
Must have the ability to challenge and influence managers and leaders
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in employment law, employee relations, compensation, organization planning and development, training & development
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and coaching skills
High level of organizational change skills
Excellent communicator, structured, dedicated, organised and positive
Fluent in all 3 languages German and English and French
Ability to travel regularly within Switzerland, especially to the Ecublens site, and in exceptional cases abroad
