Developer Apparel (all genders, 60%) temporary for 8 months

Due to a maternity leave we are looking for a 8 months replacement, ideally from Mai 2023 to end of January 2024. In this position you are part of the Product Team Apparel and have a direct impact on the development of our apparel collection with a focus on fast track and Special Make Up Product developments.

• Responsible for product development from technical drawing to proto-typing to the release of the pre-production sample within given timeline, cost and quality targets
• Developing according to briefing requirements while meeting cost targets
• Coordinating and closely communicating with garment makers
• Creating and maintaining the bill of materials throughout product development process and lifecycle
• Responsible for the advancement of product and collection on development and workmanship level
• Managing, maintaining and applying development and workmanship toolbox standards
• Organizing and leading of product fittings
• Support implementation and set-up of new PLM system to strengthen development process
• Manage and support development projects across product categories

• Completed university or recognized diploma in textile and clothing technology
• At least 3 years professional experience as an apparel developer
• Profound knowledge and understanding of the garment development process with functional materials
• Detailed experience in the collaboration and communication with textile garment makers in Europe as well as Far East
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to assess fit, recognize problems and formulate suggestions for improvement
• Sound understanding of and ability to influence product costs
• Passion for the outdoor sports
• User experience in MS Office and PDM/PLM Systems, Adobe Illustrator as a plus
• Excellent English knowledge, spoken and written, German is an advantage
