Position:
You will be the "face" of the bank on their "Guichet" and will manage the Geneva Cash Desk, supported by 1 experienced team member. You will report to the overall Head of Cash for the Banking Group, who is also based in Geneva, but who manages the cash counter and guichet functions for all the bank's Swiss offices. You be facing clients at the bank cash counter/guichet on a daily basis and will be using your private banking experience dealing with this level of clientele, using your customer service, attention to detail, organisation, numeracy and accuracy skills - not only for cash but also for transactions, payments, controlling and related administrative tasks.

Tasks in more details:
- Management of the small Cash Desk in Geneva
- Processing of Client deposits, withdrawals, physical transactions and dealing with client inquiries at the Cash Desk
- Leading continuous process optimization to increase quality and efficiency within the cash desks in Switzerland
- Preparation of the budget and continuous cost control for the Cash Desk Geneva
- Preparing cash transaction reports and control
- Daily tasks and projects for the department Branches and Logistics Switzerland (Cash Desk & Special Tasks)
- Employee development and promotion; ensure / implement qualification measures (BSC); promote teamwork and empowerment
- Error handling, clarifications, follow-up / setting of remarks made in the audit reports
- Training and instruction of employees in accordance with internal directives and rules (e.g. CDB, AML)
- Taking charge in activities from other competence centers when necessary
- Providing support for various other operational activities
Profile:
- Banking apprenticeship or equivalent
- At least 4-5 years++ work experience in the private banking industry e.g from cash desk, guichet, caisse, front desk etc
- Fluent in French, German and English - all three languages at a decent level a must
- In-depth know-how regarding Cash Desk transactions and Client Support Services
- Ability to deal directly, face-to-face and on the phone with demanding, high net worth clients
- Strong service and solutions orientation, with excellent interpersonal communication skills for optimal client experience
- Ability to manage a small team
- Top notch personal presentation and polish
- Good communication and customer service, diplomacy skills as well as accurate, discrete and detailed
- Open to digital innovations, with an agile mindset
- Numerate, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Hands-on mentality, agile mind-set, willingness to learn
- A versatile and adaptable person with a lot of humility and warmth
- Structured, dynamic, able to work under pressure, reliable, team-oriented
- Good IT skills + an affinity for technical issues
- Able to commit to a full-time, permanent contract; 80% at a push
- Already resident in Switzerland with Swiss passport or valid Swiss work permit
