Sales Manager – Northern Europe
J. SCHNEEBERGER Maschinen AG develops and manufactures state-of-the-art CNC grinding machines with integrated robotics for the production and regrinding of cutting tools, as well as for the manufacturing of various precision parts.
As an internationally active family-owned company, we are represented in all major markets through our own sales and service subsidiaries or qualified partners. Our customers include companies from tool manufacturing, the automotive industry and its suppliers, general mechanical engineering, aerospace, energy technology, and precision contract manufacturing.
Your Responsibilities
Sales of high-value capital equipment
Acquisition of new customers as well as maintenance and expansion of existing business relationships
Active management of the entire sales process – from project acquisition and feasibility studies to quotations, order intake, and project supervision (FAT, SAT)
Maintenance and development of the customer database
Active participation in international trade fairs and sales events to promote the company and generate leads
Sales Leadership
Development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Leadership, motivation, and development of the regional sales teams
Preparation of sales and budget planning as well as regular reporting to the executive management
Contribution to the digital transformation of sales activities and customer communication across all locations (CRM)
Sales Territory
Direct sales: Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria, Benelux
Sales through representatives: UK, Nordic countries, Baltic states, Eastern Europe
General Responsibilities
Providing market feedback to optimize the product portfolio
Close collaboration with departments such as application engineering, service, production, and finance
Your Profile
Completed technical education (e.g., mechanical engineering, automation, or similar)
At least 10 years of professional experience in sales, preferably in an industrial environment
Proven track record in leading and developing sales teams
Strong negotiation and closingskills
Analytical mindset and strategic thinking abilities
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
Excellent command of English, German, and French (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage
