Global Logistics Manager (m/f/d)

About the Role

For the hypercare phase of the ASPIRE FHLR environment, we are looking for two temporary additional resources to support daily operational logistics activities within a global pharmaceutical supply chain setup.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating international product flows across a defined region and ensuring smooth, compliant, and timely delivery of materials and products across the network. You will work closely with manufacturing sites, affiliates, packaging locations, and external partners to maintain supply continuity and resolve operational challenges in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

This position is embedded in a global organization that connects markets with manufacturing through centralized supply, inventory, and replenishment planning. The overall goal is to ensure reliable product availability, excellent service levels, and efficient end-to-end logistics execution worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

As Global Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of operational logistics and distribution activities across an international network. Your main tasks will include:

  • Coordinating the on-time, in-full, and compliant delivery of drug substance, drug product, and finished goods
  • Managing logistics, trade, and distribution processes for a designated geographical region
  • Overseeing order execution from product release through to final delivery at destination
  • Monitoring inventory availability and supporting transfer processes as well as order-to-cash activities
  • Acting as a key point of contact for operational issues and ensuring quick and effective resolution
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers to secure reliable supply
  • Tracking performance indicators and identifying opportunities for process optimization
  • Supporting root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to transportation and logistics optimization with a focus on service, cost, and compliance
  • Building strong working relationships across interfaces to ensure smooth coordination and execution

Must-Haves

To be considered for this position, you should bring the following qualifications and experience:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in supply chain and/or logistics within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Practical knowledge of SAP MM/SD transactions
  • Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Ability to work in a structured, reliable, and solution-oriented way in an operational environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills in an international setting

Preferred Qualifications

The following background would be considered an advantage:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • APICS certification or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in global distribution and trade processes within a regulated environment
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring, operational improvement, and cross-functional coordination
