Supply Planner
We are looking for a driven and passionate Supply Planner to join our international team in Fribourg, Switzerland

Your Mission
As a Supply Planner, reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning manager, you will play a key role in ensuring productavailability in our central warehouse and in our stores by maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing transportation costs.
Your agility, judgment, and ownership will help you to directly impact the availability of products for millions of Biltema consumers.
You will also contribute to our ongoing transformation projects and help shape the future of our supply chain processes.
Key Performance Indicators
The main KPIs for the Supply Planner are Stock Availability, Truck / Container fill rate & Stock Cover
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Order Management
- Review and validate Planned Purchase Order proposals from Microsoft Dynamics ERP
- Build optimized load plans (truck or container) while respecting all constraints: stock policy, MOQ, lead times, and supplier capacity
- Ensure timely PO placement to guarantee stock availability while controlling inventory levels
- Support fast implementation of new and replacement items, coordinating across functions
Risk Management & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Proactively identify risk & opportunities and communicate with stakeholders with clarity and solutions-oriented framing
- Partner closely with Demand Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and Product Management to define and execute actions — both corrective (solve current issues) and preventive (mitigate future risks)
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to our Supply Chain transformation projects
- Identify gaps and drive continuous improvementinitiatives across our Tools & Processes
- Maintain and improve planning master data accuracy (Lead Times, MOQ, Safety Stock, Packaging…)
Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field OR 2–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector
- Good knowledge of Demand & Supply Planning, Purchasing, Transport functions & Retail business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, data-driven and solution oriented
- Good practice of Excel (Power BI is a plus), Familiarity with ERP & Supply Planning tools (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)
- Experience with operational activities, with strong priority management skills
- Fluent in English (mandatory), French is a plus
