To further strengthen our European team in Basel we have an immediate opening for a 

Your Tasks

Responsible for selling the biomaterials product portfolio

Geographical scope: Europe (mainly Western Europe: UK, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, France)

Responsible for sales and contribution achievement in the assigned territories for the entire product portfolio assigned by managing and executing sales, marketing and education strategies in collaboration with the distributors aligned with the global direction

Drives strategic business development initiatives in the region to consolidate sales growth

Defi nes product portfolio strategies by country and executes new product launches in-line with Brand Management strategy

Assures that the countries are properly trained on the assigned product portfolio and that the brand is supported and built accordingly.

Ensures local marketing and communications initiatives, including education, training development and implementation of the local training programs in-line with Sales and Education Strategies of the region

Builds a network of regional Key Opinion leaders in collaboration with the country teams.

Consolidates Sales and Education Strategies and ensures alignment with our Brand Management strategy to leverage synergies

Support international launch readiness across all aspects for limited and full market release.

Oversee and support local sales managers during local launch (defi ne requirements for local launch readiness, i.e. check-list)

Identify, collect and assess user needs: transform into Product Requirement

Documentation Proactively monitor performance (sales, gross margin), seek counteractions quickly to address performance gaps

Your Profile

A university degree in business or natural science e.g. biomaterials, biomedical engineering, medical technology or economics is required for this position. You already have at least 3 years of professional experience in the sales & marketing of medical products, ideally in the dental fi eld.

Willingness to travel (about 60%)

Fluent in English and German and any other language an asset

Result-oriented personality, strong negotiator, with persuasiveness
