Tasks
- Onsite service management of mid to large size Projects worldwide
- Planning, preparing, and performing service calls in EMEA
- Commissioning new equipment, repairs, and troubleshooting at customer sites within the entire territory
- Provide Learning lessons to engineering and sales, sharing on site experience
- Conduct Technical Trainings for our customers
- Manage individual travel and expense based on Coperion K-Tron guidelines
- Telephone Support during office hours
- 24H Hot-Line
- Problem solving skills
- Proactively selling SCK products. Offers, Follow-Up
- Support Spare Part and Sales in the EMEA
- Other Tasks according to the agreement
- Ensure the success from the SCK business
- Further tasks as defined by Supervisor
- Travel in a daily basis from days to weeks around the world, including on weekends and during non-standard office-hour
Responsibility- Monitoring critical Projects Intervention. Get in close Contact with the Engineers and the Customer. Coaching Function.
- Monitoring the Field Service Business, doing Adjustments and Improvements
- Adjusting and modifying Coperion K-Tron equipment as required to meet the customer's process needs
- Support our service database scheduling and dispatching software called Innosoft
- Keep in contact with all Coperion K-Tron Offices
- Additional responsibilities as defined/assigned by supervisor
- Handling and coordinating warranty claims and deficiency notes
- Reporting and collecting information during and after Projects to avoid repeating failures
Required profile:
- Remote Component: Not applicable
- Required Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience Level: Ideally, the candidate should have professional experience, but junior candidates are also welcome.
- Specific Skills: Experience in electrical engineering in mechanical engineering is required. Experience can also be gained during the job.
- Type of Position: Deployment as a Field Service Technician
- Travel Component: 80% Europe, 20% Africa or Middle East. Deployment Duration: 1-2 weeks, occasionally up to 3 months. Potentially affected weekends: 12-15 weekends per year.
- Driver's License: Class B required. Minimum age: 21 years.
- Language Skills: Fluent English required, knowledge of German is desirable.
