Lean Operations Manager (m/f)

Optimisation of production processes

Our client is a Swiss industrial company that conducts business on an international level and has over 3000 employees worldwide. To increase competitiveness and optimise value creation, we are looking for a

Lean Operations Manager (m/f)

for the three largest production facilities abroad.
You will be responsible to introduce, anchor and continuously implement a sustainable and measurable lean philosophy at the international production facilities. You will ensure the principles of lean management for production planning as well as for the production and assembly lines, and provide for more efficient processes. Shortening production times and reducing materials waste – from receipt of the order to delivery – are the main objectives in this context. You will manage projects and workshops, and coach senior managers with regard to lean management. In addition, you will maintain a variety of contacts with local and central departments, such as Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Service & Spare Parts and Product Management.
For this newly created position, we are looking for a “doer” with excellent communication skills who is a person of action with a technical degree and an additional degree in Business Administration. You have about three to five years of experience in the lean management of a production facility (mechanical engineering would be an advantage). Moreover, you are an experienced project manager, know the different

methods and tools of lean management

and have already applied or introduced them successfully. Are you proficient in German and English (the travel component will make up over 50%) and an assertive, proactive team player who is interested in the long-term optimisation of value creation at a major industrial company? Rainer Marty looks forward to receiving your application. Please submit your application online, or send it by e-mail to rainer.marty@wilhelm.ch.
