Leading purchasing of all group cold drinks and snacks with total group spend of approx. €200M per year.
Creating the commodity strategy and ensures detailed implementation and execution
Responsible for group tenders (RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs) and major supplier negotiations and contract management in respective category
Shares best practices across countries and ensures common approaches and outcomes in the regions
Responsible to implement eProcurement within product category
Manage and achieve annual cost reductions and all procurement KPIs
Bachelor degree in economics. Procurement degree or certificate recommended
Minimum of 10 years experience in strategic sourcing/procurement
5+ years experience in retail, category management or consumer goods industry
Working knowledge of best practices, negotiating, benchmarking, purchasing methodology, and strategy development
English is a must and German/French preferred
Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred: Project management experience and/or MBA
Strong, assertive and team oriented style with the flexibility to react well to a fast-moving and continuously developing environment while able to keep structured thinking
Excellent communication skills
Strong social skills to manage and keep international contacts in Europe
Self-confident with a high level of self-motivation, possessing hands-on attitude
Self-starter who can work effectively on an individual and team basis
Willingness to travel regularly within Europe
