The Senior Talent Consultant works with business and Human Resources Business Partners to establish, lead and manage the implementation of the talent framework and approach within the assigned area in order to contribute to the implementation of the Group Talent Management framework and strategy across the organization
 
Your Role
 
As a Senior Talent Consultant your main responsibilities will involve: 

  • Work as a member of the Talent Management Center of Expertise to project manage work related to talent topics
  • Provide guidance to Senior Human Resources Business Partners and senior leaders in Strategic Workforce Planning, talent reviews/talent development and succession planning
  • Ensure alignment of local Talent Management approach and framework with the Group ones in the area of expertise
  • Provide global project management on Center of Expertise related work
  • Leading design and delivery of talent initiatives for the integrated Talent Management Team across the Group
  • Ensure implementation of talent approaches within respective areas of responsibility and ensure alignment with Talent Management Center of Expertise strategy
  • Ensure the application of global talent management framework and consistent set of tools for the ongoing identification, assessment & tracking of individuals in order to support achievement for their area of expertise
  • Provide guidance and consultancy on Talent Management best practice and policies to Human Resources Business Partners and executive teams to ensure alignment across the organization on a local scale
  • Interpret and implement Group strategies to meet business objectives at local level in the area of expertise.
 
Your Skills and Experience
 
As a Senior Talent Consultant your skills and qualifications will ideally include: 
  • Masters degree preferred (or equivalent) in Business Administration or Human Resources
  • At least 6 or more years of experience within Talent Management
  • Technical knowledge and experience in end to end Talent Management, including succession and development
  • Skill at building strong networks internally and externally and managing through influence in order to achieve sustainable results
  • Ability to understand business strategy and translate that understanding into appropriate TM interventions
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP Success Factors
  • Strong skill in developing proposals and presentation
  • Strong technical expertise in talent review and succession methodology
  • Organizational development expertise and Talent strategy development
  • Leadership influencing skills
  • Fluency in English, any other language is an advantage
 
 
Additional Information
 
Primary work location is Zurich. The travel requirement is up to 10%.
