The European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) is a non-profit organisation active in the field of allergic and immunologic diseases such as asthma, rhinitis, eczema, occupational allergy, food and drug allergy and anaphylaxis.
EAACI was founded in 1956 in Florence and has become the largest medical association in Europe in the field of allergy and clinical immunology. It includes over 10,000 members from 122 countries, as well as over 60 national and international member societies.
The EAACI is a non-profit organisation based in Zurich, Switzerland, with an operational and international team of ten employees.

Manager Education Programmes (m/f)
The Manager Education Programmes is responsible for organising, conducting and developing the Academy’s educational affairs projects. The main tasks include the fellowship application process, position papers, delivery of EAACI resources to members in innovative formats, the EAACI/EMS Knowledge Exam, Speaker Support programme and to support the education subcommittees. This position also manages the scientific programme for EAACI educational events - Allergy Schools, Master Classes and Focused Meeting - including speaker and abstract management and the CME accreditation process. The Manager Education Programmes reports directly to the Executive Director.
Supervision of Education Officers
Close collaboration with the Congress & Events, Marketing & Communications and Publications, Public Relations & Public Affairs team
Liaison with Vice President Education, and support of the EAACI governing bodies, Board of Officers and Executive Committees
Implementation of Education Committee activities
Evaluation, monitoring and quality control of education tasks
Liaison with UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialists)
E-learning platform: analysis, conceptual work and content development
Development of strategies to optimize Educational Programmes
University degree in training and education development related field or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of working experience in a medical or scientific affairs environment, with at least 2 years of management experience
Proven experience with e-learning platforms
Professional experience with educational programmes and events for Continuing Medical Education (CME), including abstract submission, publications etc highly desirable
Experience with concept development, implementation and delivery of new and interactive educational formats, covering live and distance learning events
Knowledge of scientific publications development and fellowship application processes would be a plus
Able to manage multiple projects at the same time across a calendar of events
Full command of English, both written and oral is imperative and preferably another language
Willingness to participate in weekend assignments at international meetings and congresses
Team player with a respectful, loyal and pro-active personality, being adaptable, well-structured, independent and being able to work well under pressure
Swiss passport holder or entitled to receive a work permit in Switzerland
