Global Marketing Manager The role of the Global Marketing Manager is to serve as business leader for their assigned product lines. They are responsible for developing and implementing the worldwide marketing strategy and commercialization plan for the M C product portfolio. This role actively pulses the industry to understand the competitive environment anticipates market trends and demands and is capable of developing and presenting business proposals for product/portfolio strategic initiatives. The individual must be capable of leading cross functional teams to execute successful commercialization of new and improved messaging and strategies developing and managing a multicultural marketing team. Relationship development with customers and regional commercial teams is needed to clearly understand customer needs and translate those needs into actionable requirements. Active engagement support of and strategizing with commercial leaders worldwide is critical to the success of this role.
The Global Marketing Manager will be based at our headquarters in Geneva Switzerland.
Author and execute marketing plans and commercialization plans for the assigned product portfolio.
Develop and communicate short- and long-term market strategy for assigned products.
Lead commercialization teams for successful development and execution of product launch plans and deliverables.
Recommend global pricing for assigned products. Collaborating with the Global Commercial Organization
Identify and communicate sales targets based on quantitative customer data. Create specific customer messaging and value propositions for target customer segments.
Develop sales tools literature brochures website etc training materials and field and customer communications.
Develop and manage key opinion leaders identify and respond to trends impacting customers and markets for assigned products.
Identify and respond to competitors' strategies and products that compete with assigned products.
Collaborate with external agencies and internal colleagues to create impactful promotional materials that include market data voice of the customer input and country sales and marketing.
Create training materials for sales and perform training to maximize execution of the commercialization plan and ensure achievement of the business objectives.
Utilize data market research market reports financials surveys monthly revenue performance and other business metrics to drive strategies and programs.
Manage the entire life cycle of the assigned portfolio. Monitor product health and customer satisfaction for assigned products and contribute to the definition and prioritization of product improvement programs for assigned products. Create customer and internal communications relative to product health initiatives in partnership with commercial and business unit colleagues.
Develop and manage a multicultural Marketing team in different countries to help creating the right tools and spreading the information globally.
Desirable Skills and Traits
Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
3-5 years Marketing Management and/or Product Management experience especially at the global level.
Experience in the capital equipment laboratory instrumentation industry is desired.
Demonstrated success in the launch and commercialization of products.
Strong analytical financial and statistical skills including analytics to assess business opportunities and to track marketing program productivity.
Initiative high energy level and positive attitude.
Ability to work cohesively in a team or as an individual contributor.
Excellent verbal written and presentation skills.
Strong leadership capability.
Experience working with Sales teams.
Led pricing recommendations.
Demonstrated creative and innovative marketing strategies.
Excellent organizational planning and project/product management skills.
Conceptual creativity ndash candidate will be asked to contribute ideas to enhance the effectiveness of the brand strategy.
Social Media and Digital Marketing expertise desired.
