Senior Systems Engineer Aerospace

The Altran Team in Zurich is looking for qualified and passionate engineers supporting its clients in the German speaking part of Switzerland, from concept to realization phase.
- As a consultant, you advise and assist our customers with their technology challenges
- According to your activity and qualifications, you can work on different project phases: from technical and strategic studies, design and development of new products, their introduction into the production; or work on the launch of comprehensive services
- Thanks to your work in varied projects, you will gain valuable and extensive experience. During your career at Altran, you will be able to develop additional skills, like in project, quality or requirement management
- Break down the technical requirements to sub-systems, generate technical specifications for subsystems and subcontractors
- Conduct technical negotiations with customers, project partners and subcontractors
- Define and implement the development and verification logic, establish corresponding documents, i.e. design development & verification plans, test plans, design justification documents, interface control documents, verification control documents etc.
- Coordinate, generate and review technical project documents and drawings
- Generate inputs for proposals, coordinate presentations and technical proposal volumes
- MSc Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or in a similar discipline (FH, ETH)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in system engineering or technical project management
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), advanced German and French knowledge
- Good communication, cooperation and organization skills, willingness to take responsibility
- Good analytical and system oriented thinking
- Awareness for costs and schedules
- Experience with composites design is advantageous
- Experience with IBM DOORs for requirements management is advantageous
- Willingness to frequently travel within the German speaking part of Switzerland
