OVERALL PURPOSE

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Associate - Lead Security Architect in our Information Technology department based in Crissier (VD), Switzerland. The main purpose of the role is to work with the Security, Risk & Compliance and Infrastructure teams, leading the design of the IT Security, providing technical expertise, taking care of security incidents and train and mentor colleagues. This is a technical hands-on job, which requires solid technical knowledge of security, networks and infrastructure to improve defense by design. The position reports to the Chief Technology Officer based in Neuchâtel and Crissier. Other working relationships include all members of the local and Group IT team, users worldwide and external suppliers.

PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain application security without affecting systems performances
  • Design security structures and ensure that they work as expected
  • Align security requirements with business strategy
  • Oversee security awareness programs and educational efforts
  • Harden perimeter, network and host defence measures
  • Manage security incidents whilst continuously hunting for threats
  • Assist with maintaining security standards and procedures
  • Participate in the design of IT systems to ensure they meet security requirements
  • Respond to security incidents and provide a thorough post-mortem analysis
  • Help uncover blind spots and improve general cyber security posture
  • Act as subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to colleagues
  • Participate in security on-call incidents and tickets resolution

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years of previous hands-on experience with IT Security
  • Previous experience in a similar position - experience in a SOC, an advantage
  • University degree / Professional Qualification with proven experience
  • Good knowledge of industry-standards
  • Open to DevSecOps methodology and concepts
  • Excellent written and oral English at Business level (C1-C2); French, an advantage
  • Certifications such as OSCP, OSEE, OSCE, CTP, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA highly valued

SKILLS

  • Excellent knowledge of PKI and CA, Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP
  • Excellent knowledge of networks, Windows and Linux internals
  • Excellent knowledge of ETDR, SIEM and event logging tools
  • Excellent knowledge of RBAC, MAC, DAC, identity and MFA authentication
  • Excellent knowledge of vulnerability testing solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of firewalls, IDS and VPN
  • Excellent audit skills to test security structures and ensure they behave as expected
  • Proficiency in C or C++ and at least one scripting language, preferably Python
  • Knowledge of Public Cloud such as Azure, AWS and GCP highly appreciated
