Regional Account Manager - Switzerland

Our client has been on the market for 20+ years, is active in 70+ countries and has a clear strategy to harness their global brand and grow in Switzerland.

Working directly for the Country Manager the Regional Account Manager would be part of an experienced team and be responsible developing new business and driving sales for their high quality lighting solutions.

• Responsibilities are the following:
• Responsibility for sales and business development in German-speaking Switzerland
• Support of existing customers in your region and active acquisition of new customers
• Further development and maintenance of business relationships
• Building long-term partnerships with customers
• Development of a business case for regional expansion in collaboration with the Country Manager
• Preparation, tracking, and processing of offers and orders
• Achieving targets within the defined budgets

As the perfect candidate you are a collaborative and proactive candidate with solid experience supporting network infrastructures in a high-pressured environment. You will possess the following skills and experience:

• At least three years of sales experience, ideally in the lighting or electrical engineering industry
• Solid technical grounding and excellent communication skills
• Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial spirit
• Experience with an ERP system (preferably SAP Sales & Distribution)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluency in German and English
• French skills are an advantage
