Regulatory Manager
Regulatory Manager, 100%, Office based at Füllinsdorf, Switzerland
LKC is a consultancy firm that specialises in providing services for the international development
and registration of chemicals in Europe for plant protection, agriculture and public health. The
technical and regulatory services of our team provide advice and guidance to enable clients to be
compliant with the regulatory requirements and successfully gain marketing authorisations for
their active substances and products.
Principal task
- Technical and regulatory input towards the preparation and completion of substance dossiers for registration applications within the European Union and Switzerland
- Project management and coordination including where applicable writing study report summaries and conducting risk assessments
- Using applicable dossier preparation and submission tools e.g. IUCLID, RPC, InfoFito
- Coordination of data gap analysis projects and compound literature searches
- Opportunity to accompany and represent clients during negotiations with Regulatory Authorities
- Keeping clients up to date on developments and changes in applicable regulations
Role requirements
- Five years’ regulatory experience within European chemical sector
- Ability to demonstrate a current understanding of product registration within the European Union or in Switzerland
- An understanding of the CLP Regulation and generation of SDSs
- A formal education qualification in physical chemistry
- Ability to demonstrate team working skills, to be resilient, reliable and proactive at work
- To be fluent in English, written and spoken (minimum C1 Advanced)
- Word, excel and proficient computer use knowledge
- A degree in a relevant life science field
- Flexible working hours and ability to undertake intercontinental travel
Desirable attributes
- Fluency in German or French or Italian
