Global Scientific Manager - IBU Critical Care
Your main tasks and responsibilities
  • Planning, implementation and execution of global medical and clinical projects for critical care portfolio
  • Contribute to the development and execution of global marketing plans and strategies
  • Provide market research insights, process market information, and support competitor intelligence activities
  • Develop and oversee medical content for global marketing materials and communication elements
  • Plan and deliver internal and external specialist training programs
  • Contribute to the execution of the scientific publication program
  • Support international opinion leader communication and relationship development
  • Organize and contribute to international congresses, symposia, and Advisory Boards
  • Support development and maintenance of portfolio-related information for omnichannel communication
  • Plan and execute assigned clinical programs and projects
  • Contribute to new product development initiatives
  • Support revisions of regulatory documents and in collaboration with Drug Regulatory Affairs
  • Organize and contribute to international, regional, and local internal meetings and customer communications
  • Support international, regional, and local marketing activities
  • Provide medical support and education to local affiliates
Your expertise and ideal skill set
  • University degree in Medical Science or Life Science (MSc. or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar medical marketing role, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong ability to work diligently with scientific information and clinical data
  • Ability to translate scientific knowledge into impactful marketing messages
  • Proven capability to develop tactical measures for successful market communication
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and motivational skills
  • Proficient in relevant communication technologies
  • Strong team player with experience working in international, cross-cultural environments
  • Ability to independently manage and execute customer-related projects
  • Well-organized with strong prioritization skills
  • Open-minded, creative, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 25%)
  • Very good English and good German language skills required; additional languages are beneficial
Your department - where you make an impact
  • The International Business Unit department (IBU) is divided into three Business Units: IBU Haematology, IBU Critical Care and IBU Immunotherapy plus an IBU Project Management team
  • The overall responsibility of the IBU department is to ensure long-term strategic development by enabling intelligent business decisions
  • We specialize in global medical marketing, strategic and business development, as well as pipeline project management
  • The department consists of 25 team members.
