Senior Global Brand Lead

We are looking for a strategic and visionary Senior Global Brand Lead (F/M/D) to shape the mid- and long-term strategy for our vaccines' portfolio. Boost our Team

In the Global Marketing department, we are responsible for driving global brand strategy, orchestrating end-to-end product launches, and managing life cycle marketing across key markets. Through data-driven omnichannel engagement and scientifically aligned messaging, the team delivers impactful campaigns that strengthen brand equity and support commercial success. Our Global Marketing Department is dedicated to moving things forward, thinking outside the box, and having fun!

You will collaborate with colleagues from Global Marketing and stakeholders from local Affiliates, R&D, Business Development/Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs, among other teams. Working in cross-functional groups, you will ensure successful campaign planning and global execution through the product life cycle.

You will also collaborate with external partners, including agencies (creative and consulting), NGOs, charities, patients- and HCP associations.

This role is fully remote and can be based in Switzerland or Germany. You should be willing to travel internationally approximately 30%. You will report to the VP, Global Marketing in Switzerland.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the global product strategy team and develop the Lifecyle Management (LCM) plan
• Own and implement the global brand strategy for key vaccine products
• Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and grow the team (currently 1 FTE)
• Act as a role model for Bavarian Nordic's values and culture, embedding them within your team

We are looking for someone ready to take ownership of their role and drive results. Your qualifications include:

• University degree in Science (e.g., Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology) combined with a Business background (MBA preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry; vaccine experience is a strong plus
• Proven strategic mindset with strong scientific acumen and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Full proficiency in English; German is a plus

To succeed in this role, you have a proven ability to collaborate effectively within an international matrix environment and lead cross-functional teams with clarity and purpose. You communicate confidently across all levels of the organization and bring solid experience in brand strategy and product marketing management.
