Product Launch Manager (Ref. 2682) - 1 year contract with likely extension
The Manager, Launch Excellence, is responsible for ensuring the timely and compliant launch of new commercial products in international markets. This role oversees all operational launch activities, works cross-functionally with global teams, and contributes to continuous process improvement across the organization.
Your main tasks
- Oversee the execution of all activities related to new product launches outside the U.S.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Market Partners, and other operational functions to ensure on-time, compliant product launches
- Act as the main point of contact between manufacturing sites and markets for assigned launches
- Develop detailed launch readiness, execution, and contingency plans using established project management tools and templates
- Monitor progress against launch plans and milestones, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where needed to maintain timelines
- Lead cross-functional discussions, coordinate launch forums, and drive contingency measures to ensure successful execution
- Track and report launch progress, generate relevant KPIs, and ensure visibility of key project deliverables
- Contribute to global launch strategies, SKU management, and labeling or packaging requirements
- Support the identification and implementation of best practices to drive continuous improvement across launch processes
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or commercial discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience managing and coordinating complex, cross-functional projects in an international environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, regulatory, and logistics processes; knowledge of GMP/GDP and labeling/artwork development is an advantage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively across functions and geographies
- Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy
- Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and drive process improvements
- Fluent in English and French
