We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organized Research Assistant to support our scientific and (pre-)clinical research activities. The position is initially limited to 3-6 months, with the option of extension and opportunities for advancement. The position is available immediately or by mutual agreement.
Research Assistant
Your responsibilities
- Conducting Microbiology analysis in the scope of a project which applies photodynamic therapy. Scientific analysis encompasses Flow cytometry, Viability tests, SEM and CLSM analysis, Live/Dead imaging.
- Data curation and formal analysis
- Support in preparation of clinical study protocols
- Support in preparation of scientific manuscripts
Your profile
- Degree or vocational training in Biology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biomedical Laboratory Science, or a related discipline (BSc/MSc or equivalent technical training)
- Hands-on experience in laboratory methods relevant to microbiology or biomedical research (e.g., flow cytometry, viability assays, microscopy)
- Strong interest in combining practical laboratory work with scientific analysis, including data interpretation and manuscript preparation
- Structured, reliable working style with a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
- Publication experience is an advantage but not required
