Responsibilities:

Revenue and financial analysis

  • Monitor and analyze student revenue and enrolment trends across the CH and UK campuses
  • Maintain and update the revenue monitoring system linked to student numbers and program capacity
  • Lead the monthly closing for revenue: revenue reconciliation for both P/L and B/S (deferred revenue, prepaid accounts)
  • Analyze financial results and provide insights on variances versus budget and forecast and produce monthly financial reporting to the Director of Finance and top management
  • Participate in the budget and forecast processes for revenue
  • Conduct financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, projects, business cases, and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting
  • Reporting for accreditation (Neche, 5 years reports, etc.)

Billing, collection monitoring & reporting

  • Monitor billing activities and receivables balances, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding payments
  • Produce regular reporting on billing, collections, and outstanding balances
  • Analyze payment trends and identify collection risks or delays
  • Support the management of student payment plans, including monitoring of payment schedules and follow-up on overdue instalments
  • Review and process billing adjustments, credit notes, and additional charges (accommodation, F&B, course retakes, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of student payments
  • Manage and monitor the student refund process in coordination with the accounting department
  • Review scholarship documentation and ensure proper recording for audit purposes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of financial interactions with students and sponsors

Stakeholder collaboration

  • Act as a key point of contact between Finance, Student Affairs, Registrar, Academic Departments, and the International Enrolment Team
  • Liaise with students, parents, and sponsors regarding financial questions and billing matters
  • Ensure clear and timely communication regarding student financial accounts and payment status

Finance systems & process improvement

  • Maintain financial workflows within Microsoft Dynamics and related financial systems
  • Ensure correct usage of the global chart of accounts and financial procedures
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial reporting tools and billing processes
  • Support onboarding and training of finance team members when required

Profile and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent discipline required
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, billing, collections, or accounting
  • Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or revenue management is a strong advantage
  • Experience in hospitality, education, or service-oriented industries is a plus
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Good knowledge of financial systems/ERP (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, including handling demanding stakeholders
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and problem-solving ability
  • Fluent written and spoken English and French
