As the Product Manager, you shape the future of a specific new product platform for the winning mylife Diabetes Care portfolio covering the entire product platform lifecycle span, translating real-world needs into inspiring product platform strategies, requirements, and business cases for new developments and ensures long-term product- and market fit, clinical relevance, economic value, and regulatory compliance.

Support us in the production and development of cutting-edge medical technology solutions that enable people around the world to self-manage diabetes and other chronic diseases.

• Own and evolve the global product vision, portfolio strategy, and long-term roadmap based on unmet clinical needs, market insights, and competitive dynamics
• Ensure deep understanding of users and stakeholders (VoC/VoS) and translate insights into validated product concepts, requirements, and Market Requirements Documents (MRD)
• Develop and manage business cases, forecasts, and cost targets to ensure delivery of sustainable clinical, economic, and commercial value to secure competitive portfolio differentiation
• Define and execute partner strategies, ensuring effective integration of external technologies and solutions into the product portfolio
• Integrate devices, digital solutions, and algorithms into one platform to deliver patient-centric, clinically effective, and scalable ecosystem solutions
• Lead the product through development to launch readiness, ensuring compliance, product forecasting, KPI definition, and a smooth handover to Marketing and Sales (Commercial Organization)
• Representation of the product platform at internal and external events
• Act as a product expert in overall mylife Diabetes Care organization internal and external stakeholders
• Shared responsibility for and coordination of multidisciplinary expert areas related to the products and standard product management activities
• Accountable for end-to-end product platform success across the entire product platform lifecycle, from concept to post-market performance

• Qualifications & Experience
• University degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus
• 8+ years of experience in Product Management within medical devices, pharma, or high-end consumer technology
• Proven track record of managing products across the lifecycle, from concept over launch planning and execution to post-market, with measurable business impact
• Experience translating market and clinical needs into product requirements and business cases
• Strong understanding of medical device regulations, compliance, and claim management
• Experience in Diabetes Care or other chronic therapy areas is highly preferred
• Skills & Competencies
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to define product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle performance
• Ability to translate complex product features and clinical evidence into product requirements and value drivers
• Proven cross-functional leadership and ability to influence without direct authority
• Experience working in global, cross-functional environments (Product, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Commercial, Market Access)
• Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking, product performance, and market dynamics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior audiences
• Customer- and patient-centric mindset with focus on product–market fit and long-term value
• Proactive, ownership-driven, and results-oriented working style
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus (e.g. communication in German)
