Supply Chain Quality Manager – High-Volume Parts (m/f/d) (80-100%)
As a Supply Chain Quality Manager – High-Volume Parts (m/f/d), you will play a key role in driving quality excellence and quality improvement across our global value chain for high volume turbocharger parts. This role goes beyond managing current quality management — you will actively shape and implement quality assurance processes, that strengthen supply chain quality and resilience to create long-term value. Your Responsibilities:
Quality Strategy
- Develop and implement robust supply chain quality strategy, framework and processes for high-volume manufacturing environment (PPAP).
Quality Assurance
- Define and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation (e.g., control plans, work instructions).
- Establish and manage quality gates and processes with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure production readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Suppliers, Quality Inspection, Logistics and Production) to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks early in the supply process, collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to enhance part quality.
- Serve as the quality representative for high volume parts, ensuring early integration of quality standards and effective use of lessons learned.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Quality Performance
- Establish statistical process control methods and monitor key quality metrics.
Quality Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Manage non-conformance processes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
- Several years of experience in quality engineering within high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process validation and industrialization.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proactive, self-driven, and accountable - you identify opportunities, take ownership, and deliver measurable improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and organizational levels.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Willingness to travel internationally, up to 10%.
