Team Leader - Supplier Quality Management 80 - 100 % (w/m/d)
How you can make a difference:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Supplier Quality Management team.
- Allocate resources to meet business needs and maintain compliance.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
- Supplier Quality Oversight:
- Develop and implement a supplier quality strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance metrics, such as defect rates, corrective actions, and delivery timelines.
- Manage the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and ensure regular updates.
- Compliance and Audits:
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820), EU MDR (2017/745), and ISO 13485 standards.
- Drive the implementation of CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and ensure timely closure.
- Manage supplier-related non-conformances and deviations.
- Risk Management:
- Perform supplier risk assessments and drive mitigation plans.
- Ensure robust supplier quality agreements are in place.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage supplier risks impacting product quality.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain thorough documentation of supplier evaluations, audits, and quality performance data.
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements.
- Drive initiatives to enhance supplier capability and performance.
- Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and implement necessary updates.
That's what you bring along:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management, preferably in the medical device industry or automotive.
- Demonstrated expertise in FDA and EU MDR regulatory environments.
- Experience leading and managing teams.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and related standards.
- Proficiency in supplier quality tools such as FMEA, APQP, and SPC.
- Hands-on experience with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
