This position is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with excellent public transport access (Tram 10) and free on-site parking.

What is the role?

• Development work in the field of water treatment process automation and instrumentation
• Planning and building-up of test benches for performance tests of prototypes, system components and quality control
• Implement strategies to improve software and electronic hardware
• Responsible for signal acquisition and signal processing strategies
• Commissioning of instrumentation at customer sites and evaluation of field data
• Analyse and communicate results through written reports/technical papers and oral presentations

Does this sound like you?

• Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• First professional experience in industry environment preferred (3-5 years), especially in instrumentation and signal processing
• Experience in electronics simulation software
• Familiarity with the use of test instruments and automation
• Self-driven personality, innovative and creative with hands-on mentality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to international travels, also over several weeks
• Working languages: English, German and French are a plus
• You are Swiss or EU citizen or have a C Swiss resident permit.
