Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company with a state-of-the-art production site in the Neuchâtel area, operating globally and ranking among the largest employers in the industry in Switzerland. To strengthen the team, we are looking for an experienced professional as Customer Service Specialist.
Customer Service Specialist (Ref. 2673) - 1 year contract – immediate start
In this pivotal role, you will be the primary scheduling contact for assigned treatment centers and play a crucial part in coordinating time-sensitive patient journeys for advanced cell therapy products. You will work closely with cross-functional internal teams, external partners, and logistics providers, ensuring seamless operations and a positive end-to-end experience for patients and stakeholders.
Your main tasks
- Act as the main scheduling point of contact for apheresis centers, manufacturing sites, clinical treatment sites, and logistics partners.
- Create, coordinate, and maintain patient treatment schedules, ensuring timely communication and data accuracy across all stakeholders.
- Monitor and troubleshoot logistical issues throughout the patient journey, including transportation, warehousing, and manufacturing activities.
- Provide real-time portal support and training to clinical sites and external users.
- Execute exception handling processes such as product returns, replacements, and escalations as needed.
- Participate in daily operations meetings, shift turnovers, and cross-functional team discussions, contributing insights and supporting continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, documentation standards, and company values while maintaining a high level of customer service orientation.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in customer service, logistics, supply chain, or healthcare operations.
- Experience in a fast-paced, regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare is a strong asset.
- Highly self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in diverse teams.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage tense situations and de-escalate when necessary.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs, with willingness to provide on-call or holiday support as required.
- Fluency in English, any additional language is a plus.
