Mechanical Engineer 100% (m/w/d)

About the project: For our pioneering industrial project "Selfrag Centro Due", a waste slag processing plant in Kerzers (FR), we are looking for an experienced professional to take charge of the successful execution of this large-scale construction project. The project is currently in the implementation phase and requires regular on-site presence.

This is a key position where you can fully apply your strategic thinking and strong execution skills. 

Your main assignments will be:

•  Construction of new machines and plant components with 3D-CAD (Inventor) including   preparation of the necessary procurement and production documents.
•  Perform occasional mechanical calculations and simulations (FEM)
•  Participation in the prototype development as well as in the planning, execution and   evaluation of experiments.
•  Participation in the R & D team, in which forward-looking solutions are considered,   further developed and realized.
•  Cooperation in the preparation of operating and service instructions as well as   replacement and wear parts lists.

Your profile:

• You have several years of professional experience, preferably in mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor or master's degree in mechanical engineering
• Well-founded design know-how with great attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor and the MS Office programs.
• You have many years of experience in leading development projects.
• Commitment and flexibility are one of your strengths.
• Fluent in English, good knowledge of German or/and French
