Production Expert (m/f/d) - sterile pharmaceuticals/ GMP/ automated production facilities/ MES/ Google applications/ warehouse management systems/ SAP/ plant control systems/ German

For our pharmaceutical client based in Kaiseraugst, we are seeking a Production Expert (m/f/d).

Background:
We are looking for a Process Expert until mid-2027. The position involves shift work (6/4 model: two early shifts, two late shifts, two night shifts, four days off). As a Production Expert, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the technical aspects of the Drug Product Filling production area
within the "Aseptic Filling Line" (FSP) asset.

The ideal candidate: has completed vocational training as a pharmaceutical or chemical technologist and possesses at least two years of experience in the production of sterile pharmaceuticals and in a GMP environment. They are also characterized by a strong technical understanding, proficient handling of highly automated production facilities and IT systems, and good German language skills.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Ensuring the availability of plant components, packaging materials, and consumables at the production site, including scheduling and transport.
• Controlling and monitoring highly automated process plants (isolator technology) for filling pharmaceutical active ingredient solutions under cleanroom conditions, as well as the associated IT systems.
• Monitoring production processes and evaluating process messages and deviations.
• Performing setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of individual machines and/or systems.
• Ensuring and maintaining GMP-compliant documentation of production steps using electronic systems.
• Implementing process improvements and adapting specification documents using LPS tools.

Must-haves:
• Completed vocational training as a pharmaceutical or chemical technologist or comparable qualification (pharmaceuticals/technology/mechanics/automation)
• At least 2 years of experience in the manufacture of sterile pharmaceuticals, as well as experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment (work/documentation)
• Good technical understanding and skills in operating highly automated production facilities
• Confident and proficient use of IT systems (MES, Google applications, warehouse management systems, SAP, plant control systems)
• Good written and spoken German skills
