In this position, you will take an active role in the end-to-end delivery of regulatory and risk-driven change projects. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to analyse requirements, design solutions, coordinate implementation activities and ensure successful testing and rollout.
The focus of the role lies on regulatory requirements impacting advisory and suitability processes as well as market-related regulations, including areas such as trade reporting. You will be embedded in a complex, international banking environment and contribute to Change-the-Bank initiatives within the Global Products & Solutions organisation.
- Analyse business and regulatory requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications
- Support solution design and implementation across business and IT teams
- Act as a key interface between stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams
- Coordinate testing, rollout and implementation activities
- Ensure regulatory changes are delivered in line with internal standards, timelines and quality expectations
For a leading international private bank, we are currently looking for an experienced Regulatory Business Analyst / Project Manager to support long-term regulatory change initiatives within a global products and markets environment.
Location: Zurich (up to two days home office)
Workload: 100%
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until end of 2026, with possible extension
Language: Business-fluent English required
- Higher education with a strong professional background in banking or financial services
- 5-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager in a comparable banking environment
- Proven hands-on experience with regulatory implementations, including reporting obligations (e.g. FIDLEG, MiFID, MiFIR, FinfraG, EMIR, SEC, FCA)
- Solid understanding of financial products, trading processes and systems within a global private banking context
- Strong IT affinity and good understanding of SDLC and agile delivery models
- Confident user of MS Office and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Able to work independently in an international, cross-functional setup
- Strong ownership mindset with a proactive and positive attitude
- Quick learner who performs well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across different stakeholder levels
