Senior DevSecOps Engineer in the region of Basel

As Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will enhance development environments, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure automation. You support engineering teams, optimise system environments, and ensure adherence to best practices across the software-delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve CI/CD pipelines through scripting and automation.
• Maintain and optimise development tools, container environments, and OpenShift/Kubernetes components.
• Support developers throughout the lifecycle, ensuring best-practice implementation.
• Perform root-cause analyses and improve system scalability.
• Integrate and enhance tools such as logs, ETL pipelines, and API management.

You hold a university-level qualification in an IT discipline or have completed an equivalent technical apprenticeship, and you bring several years of current, hands-on DevSecOps experience covering CI/CD pipelines, container technologies and modern development tooling. You work with a holistic view of system environments and contribute actively to engineering improvements.

Additionally:

• 3+ years of DevSecOps experience; Azure DevOps and Kubernetes preferred
• Background in development (ideally .NET) and technologies like Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis or Kafka
• Strong analytical thinking and holistic system view
• Fluent in English
• Valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required
• Willingness to work 100% on-site
