This position reports functionally to the Team Head, ERP EMEA O2C, F2P and D2S and will be based in Kaiseraugst Switzerland. In order to support a Regional users base, this role requires the ability to travel internationally up to 20% as needed.
Provides strategic direction and oversight to the components owners which comprise the solution
Coordinates with Business Partners, Functional Managers, and other Solution Owners
Manages customers' experience and satisfaction with the Solution
Provides oversight and escalation for adherence to IT standards (including security,privacy, quality and process) and compliance with requirements of regulatory bodies
Understands business use and needs for the overall Solution through ComponentOwners
Ensures effective and appropriate mapping of business needs to technology
Understands solution landscape and components, and fit with Technology Architecture Framework and portfolio roadmap
Owns strategic lifecycle management and works with Architects on development of the technology roadmap
Drives the strategic direction of the solution to support emerging and changing business needs
Budgets and sponsors strategic projects where new components are introduced or major changes are required
Works with Customers and Component Owners to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) are established as needed across the overall solution
Monitors overall performance and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement across all components that comprise the Solution
Handles escalations requiring a strategic decision and/or operational issues which cannot be resolved by the Component Owners

For this position, the ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:
3-5 years experience as a solution owner in a global environment
Degree in computer science or equivalent
Strong Business and SAP ERP solution/component knowledge
Deep vertical understanding of IT value model and its offered solutions/components on different abstraction layers
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other validated environment highly desired
Influencing and skillful negotiation skill
Team collaboration spirit, but also strong ability to work as a single driver and contributor
Sense for pragmatism and value orientation
