Brand Financial Controller - L'Occitane en Provence

YOUR MISSION
As Brand Financial Controller, you will act as a strategic finance partner to our central product development teams. Your role will be to secure margin targets and ensure portfolio profitability at every stage of the product lifecycle "" from innovation to end-of-life.
Based in Plan-les-Ouates (close to Geneva) and reporting to the Brand Controlling Director, you will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Pricing and Factory teams to drive value, efficiency, and informed decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support new product development by validating standard costs, challenging pricing and margin assumptions, and ensuring profitability of key innovations and strategic ranges (Verbena & Lavender, Fragrances & Home, Limited Editions, Hospitality & SPA).
- Produce and share monthly KPI dashboards to monitor launch performance and engage development teams around our global margin objectives.
- Contribute to the annual price revision process across the product portfolio (individual items, gift sets, promotional materials, merchandising).
- Actively participate in excess & obsolete stock management, optimizing sell-out strategies and limiting write-off risks.
- Quarterly review and adjust central inventory financial accruals, ensuring accurate accounting and proper follow-up of decisions.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, such as product catalogue optimization, financing of brand ecological commitments, and cost/value analysis.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic or operational decisions.
HOW YOU CAN FIT:
- Master's degree in Finance or Controlling.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the beauty, cosmetics, fragrance or FMCG industry.
- Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and good knowledge of SAP systems.
- Analytical and concise mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative spirit, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong autonomy and sense of ownership.
