Each equipped with YOTEL’s signature SmartBed – adjustable for relaxing, working or sleeping, every element of the room is sleek and modern. The hotel also offers a 24/7 fully equipped gym for hotel guests. Front Office is the hub of all activity at our hotel. Use our self-service kiosks to check-in and out under a minute or guests can speak to our always on-hand crew. Covering over 2,000sqm (21,500 sqft), HYGGE will feature a indoor and outdoor Danish-inspired restaurant, bar, and café, cutting-edge meeting facilities, and ample co-working space. HYGGE will be a destination within a destination.
Featuring contemporary Nordic architecture, the space is designed to constantly evolve to accommodate everything from intimate dinners to large entertainment events, including sporting showcases, weddings, and product launches. Ideal for both business and leisure guests, regional commuters, and neighbourhood residents, it will become the ideal place to eat, meet, work and play.
About the role
At YOTEL, our mission is to challenge the status quo – it’s our DNA. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Rang to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of hospitality.
More specifically, responsibilities will include the following:
- Providing outstanding table service, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience
- Taking orders and delivering food and beverages efficiently
- Advising guests on menu choices and pairing wines with dishes
- Supervising and supporting Commis de Rang and junior staff
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Ensuring service standards are met and exceeded
The skills we are looking for are:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining or high-end restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and service etiquette
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive and professional attitude
- Fluent in English & French is a plus
