Global Medical Affairs Drug Safety Manager "I want to make an impact locally and have an influence globally" Nestlé Nutrition La Tour-de-Peilz Switzerland Undefined period of time 100% As Global Medical Affairs Drug Safety Manager you act as a medical affairs leader through building and communicating the deepest medical knowledge you ensure appropriate scientific communication internally and externally and coordinate and lead global medical affairs projects. Furthermore you give medical and scientific guidance on selected global initiatives within the Global Development and Global Marketing Project teams and deliver specific medical affairs expertise to promotional material and marketing plans. You are also responsible for providing medical affairs input into global medical/scientific education activities conferences symposia and advisory boards and provide input to clinical development plans for innovation portfolio. Additionally you are responsible for safety medical review of complaints of marketed products and support Periodic safety update reports PSUR writing and submissions Nestlé Nutrition is a globally managed business entity within the Nestlé Group. Key responsibilities Prepare and execute Medical affairs plan for infant maternal Nutrition business categories that support engagement with health care professionals. Manage external relationship with thought leaders. Manage advisory boards speaker bureaus and other engagement forums as per business needs. Responsible for creating educational and training materials for health care professionals as well as internal stakeholders. Work closely with the Medical Network in the markets and support the market needs with respect to medical affairs Activities. Work in close coordination with the Global quality team on safety aspects of marketed products. Responsible for Medical Case review of marketed products and submission of PSURs as per regulatory requirement. Lead KOL stakeholders' management inclusive of advisory boards speaker bureaus etc. Drive medical education activities with HCP. Build and execute Global Medical Affairs strategy for new launches as well as existing products. Support safety management team on Risk Management Plans Risk-Benefit assessments and periodic safety updates development safety updates. Support the Medical Scientific Network in the region and markets. Required Profile Medical/Paediatrics degree or advanced degree in nutrition preferably with pediatric/pediatric nutrition background Relevant experience of min 3-5 years in multinational environment. Successful experience coordinating and managing projects involving multiple point people Proven ability to successfully organize track and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Sound knowledge of Pharmacovigilance needs and practices Deep expertise in the medical affairs pharmaceutical industry or in FMCG preferably in the nutrition Entrepreneurial spirit and proven experience working in a team environment Good command on written and spoken English.
